Obituary for Al Himes
HIMES, Allen “Al” - Passed away suddenly at his residence on Friday, October 7, 2022, Allen Roland Himes at the age of 78.
Reunited with his wife Nancy Himes (nee Sears) (August 31, 2016). Father of Bonnie Otto of Tavistock, Bill Himes (Shannon) of New Hamburg and Joe Himes of Stratford. Grandfather to 13 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren. Survived by his siblings Laura Rice, Robert Himes and Ross Himes, as well as sisters-in-law Wendy Scott and Valerie Sears (Brian) and brothers-in-law Michael Sears and Mike Utting. Al will be remembered by several nieces, nephews and extended family. Predeceased by his parents William and Marjorie (nee Foster) Himes, 3 sisters, 3 brothers, 2 brothers-in-law and 2 sisters-in-law.
A celebration of life will take place on Saturday, November 26, 2022 from 2-5 pm at the Tavistock Legion, 223 Hope St. West, East Zorra-Tavistock.
A private family interment will take place.
