Obituary for Shirley Kovac
KOVAC, Shirley – Passed away peacefully at the Woodstock Hospital on Monday, August 9, 2021, Shirley Marie Kovac (nee Richardson) at the age of 87.
Beloved wife of Milton Kovac for 64 years. Loving mother to Scott Kovac (Sara) of Woodstock. She cherished her granddaughters Amy Kovac (Matt) and Beth Kovac (Satchel), Gabrielle Allin-Hendry (Nick), Savhana Allin-Hendry (Dylan) and Alexis Allin-Hendry (Jordan) as well as her great granddaughter Sophia. She will be sadly missed by her brother Wayne Richardson (Nancy), brother-in-law Michael Kovac (late Lois), nieces Robin Chiesa (Gary), Michelle Kovac and nephews Duffy Kovac, Greg Kovac (Bernice) and Kelly Kovac. Fondly remembered by her extended family and friends. Predeceased by her parents Norman and Edna (nee Carter) Richardson.
A private family memorial service will be held at the SMITH-LeROY FUNERAL HOME, 69 Wellington St. North, Woodstock (519-537-3611). Shirley’s ashes will be interred in the Innerkip Cemetery.
