The family of David Ronald Hendry would like everyone to know that on Monday, May 24, 2021, he got up from his wheelchair and walked into the warm embraces and was reunited with his parents, brother and sisters and those who passed before him waiting to welcome him home.

David Ronald Hendry leaves behind a loving wife of 63 years, Winnifred Hendry (nee Pocock), as well as four children who called him father. Shelley Caryn (Don) and family, David Hendry (Sandy), Greg Hendry (Kelly) and family and Gordon Hendry and family. As well as many grandchildren and great grandchildren. He will be missed by so many whom he brought smiles to.
Many thanks to the Woodingford Lodge doctors, nurses and PSW’s who helped Ron along the way and made his stay enjoyable.

There will be a private family interment in the Robin’s Hill Cemetery, Thorndale on Thursday, May 27, 2021. Arrangements have been entrusted to the SMITH-LeROY FUNERAL HOME, 69 Wellington St. N, Woodstock (519-537-3611).
