Marillian Louisina Adriana MacDougall (nee Cornelissen) went home to Jesus on October 14th, 2021 at age 67, beloved wife to Ray MacDougall. Marillian was predeceased by her parents Regina Maria Cornelissen (nee Hendriks) (2013) & Antone Cornelissen (2013) on December 24th, 1953 in Watford, Ontario.

Marillian married Ralph Walter O’Neil in 1974 having 3 children, Patrick (Carolynne with three children Xavier, Dennis, and Frances), Chris (Lisa with 4 children Jesse-David, Simon, Peter, and Titus), and Karen (Rob Zelch with 5 children Charles, Valera, Rosalie, Sandra, and Ingrid).

After the death of Ralph in 1986, she married her second husband Charles Joseph Van Herten in 1987 along with his three children Chris (Darlene with 2 children, Hannah and Malachi); Michael, and James (with 2 children Charlize and Maverick).

After the death of Charles in 2001, she married Raymond John MacDougall in 2009 along with his three children Ray Junior (Jackie), Adam (April), and Michael and his grandchildren Brandon, Brody, Bailey, and Aria and several great grandchildren.

To many, this sounds tragic; however, Marillian thought she was so blessed to be loved so much in her life by three husbands and so many people, staying connected to each of her spouses’ families.

Predeceased by her siblings Rita (1963), Lucy Holman (2015), Hans (2020). Survived by siblings Bernadette “Erna” (Doug) Pitt, George (Carolyn) Cornelissen, Sheila (Rob) Sullivan, Anita (Jim) Smeekens and Beatrix Enter and brother-in-law Ken Holman.

Attending Church weekly throughout her entire life and spending most of her life as a farmer and a part-time working mother, Marillian had extremely strong social connections and an active volunteer life being with people as much as she could every day, she will be missed by many people.

Visitation will be held at The Rock Community Church, 1140 Nellis Street, Woodstock, Ontario on Wednesday, October 20, 2021 from 2-4 pm & 6-9 pm. (No Registration required)

Burial will follow in the Birr Anglican Cemetery, 14271 Thirteen Mile Rd, London, at 3 pm. There will be no processional as this is a 1-hour drive.
