DUE TO UNFORSEEN CIRCUMSTANCES, THE FAMILY HAS CANCELLED THE VISITATION AND FUNERAL SERVICE FOR RICHARD.

BRIGHT, Richard – Passed away suddenly on Saturday, December 18, 2021 at the Woodstock Hospital, Richard Roy Bright of Woodstock at the age of 71. 

Reunited with his late wife Cheryl Bright (nee Cooper).  Dear father of Craig Bright, Rick Bright (Krista), Nick Bright, Crystal Bright (Tim Miles) and step-son Karl Schofield.  Grandfather of Zachary, Bethany, Christopher, Paiden, Zanden, Austin, Alyssa, Angel, Brandon, Dylan and great grandfather to one great grandson.  Survived by his brothers Michael Bright and Dennis Bright (Kelly), his uncle Frank and aunt Charlene Bright,  as well as many nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.  Predeceased by his parents James and Margaret (nee Himes) Bright, his brothers Jim, Edward, Phillip and his sister Linda.    

Friends will be received at the SMITH-LeROY FUNERAL HOME, 69 Wellington Street North, Woodstock on Wednesday, December 22, 2021, from 2-4 pm and 6-8 pm.   A funeral service will be held in the chapel on Thursday, December 23, 2021 at 11:00 am.  Cremation to follow.
