Obituary for Daisy Corbett
CORBETT, Daisy - Passed away suddenly on Wednesday, December 16, 2020, at home, Catherine Daisy Corbett (nee Melanson) at the age of 84.
She leaves behind her beloved husband of 66 years Raymond Corbett. Loving mother of Gilda Lockey (Doug), Robert Corbett (Donna), Keith Corbett (Pam) and Cathy Johnston (Scott). Proud grandmother of 13 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren. Survived by her siblings Barbara Robicheau (Dennis) and John Melanson (Mary Jane). Predeceased by her parents Joseph and Agnes (nee Shipley) Melanson, her daughter Cindy Daoust (2009) as well as many brothers and sisters.
The family will welcome visitors at the SMITH-LeROY FUNERAL HOME, 69 Wellington St. N, Woodstock on Friday, December 18, 2020 from 4-8 pm.
Due to Provincial regulations, all visitation guests must register with the funeral home by calling 519-537-3611, between the hours of 9 am -5 pm and time slots will be explained and filled. Please remain in your cars until your selected time and then proceed to the front door wearing a mask and observing social distancing.
A private family funeral service will be held in the chapel on Saturday. Interment in Oxford Memorial Park Cemetery will follow.
