Obituary for Dennis Highley
HIGHLEY, Dennis – Passed away peacefully at University Hospital, London on Saturday, December 28, 2019 at the age of 75.
Beloved husband of Wendy Highley (nee Wright). Loving father of Lorraine Bodeit (Fred), late Errol Highley, and Jennifer Carson. Grandfather of Samantha, Edward, Miranda, late Michael, Emily, Kaitlin, and David, and great grandfather of Owen and Raylynn. Survived by his siblings Arthur, Allan, Bernice Kovacs, Carol Steinhoff, Linda Cook (Rob) and Mary Anne Hedges. Also survived by several nieces, nephews, and extended family. Predeceased by his parents Leonard and Mattie (nee Pye) Highley, his son Errol Highley, a grandson Michael and a brother Donald.
Friends and family are invited to a visitation at the SMITH-LeROY FUNERAL HOME, 69 Wellington St. North, Woodstock (519-537-3611) on Thursday, January 2, 2020 from 3 – 5 pm. Cremation will follow. Interment of ashes will be in Oxford Memorial Park Cemetery at a later date.
