Obituary for Donna Coward
COWARD, Donna - Passed away with her family by her side on Monday, August 31, 2020 at the Woodstock Hospital, Donna Margaret Anne Coward (nee Steele) at the age of 84.
Beloved wife of the late Donald ‘Don” Coward (2016). Loving mother of Joanne Proulx of Stratford, Brenda Coward of Woodstock, and Brad Coward (Karen) of Mount Bridges. Loving grandmother of Nathan Proulx (Melissa), Matthew Coward (Kelsie), Julia Coward and Rachel Coward, and step grandmother of Chris Budd. Great grandmother of Megan Proulx and Hannah Proulx, and great great grandmother of Jack, Ophelia, and James. Donna will be fondly remembered by several nieces, nephews, and extended family. Predeceased by her parents Lucas and Agnes (nee Weiler) Steele, brother Joseph Steele (late Barbara), son-in-law Roger Proulx (2020), and step grandson Cole Budd (2020).
Friends and family are invited to celebrate Donna’s life on Tuesday, September 8, 2020 at the SMITH-LeROY FUNERAL HOME, 69 Wellington St. N., Woodstock (519-537-3611) where a funeral liturgy will take place in the chapel at 2 pm. A visitation will be from 1:00 – 1:45 pm. Interment will take place in St. Mary’s Catholic Cemetery.
