Obituary for Betty Baker
BAKER, Elizabeth – Passed away peacefully at Caressant Care Nursing Home, Woodstock on Friday, March 27, 2020, in her 90th year, Elizabeth Anne Baker (Gordon) of Woodstock.
Her husband Glen Baker predeceased her on August 24, 2010. Loving mother of Nile and Trish Baker, and Ruth Baker all of Woodstock. She will be sadly missed by her grandchildren Joanna (Kevin), Dan (Allie), John (Crystal) and Steve (Kendra) and great-grandchildren Oliver & Levi, Ava, Ethan & Maddy, Grayson, Hugo & Isla. She is survived by her sisters Marion Hartley and Marjorie Hodgins. Fondly remembered by her sister-in-law Vida Hawthorne and brother-in-law Nestor Kozey. Also survived by several nieces, nephews and extended family. Elizabeth was a graduate of the Woodstock General Hospital School of Nursing and proudly spent her 40 year career as a registered nurse at the hospital.
A private family graveside service will be held at the Chesterfield Cemetery and a celebration of life will be held at a later date, with the date and times announced. If desired, memorial donations to the Chesterfield Cemetery or the Woodstock Hospital Foundation would be appreciated.
