WALTON, Frances - Passed away at the Woodstock Hospital on Friday, March 22, 2019, at the age of 97. Loved sister-in-law of Mary Walton of Golspie. Dear aunt of Betty (Frank) McKay of Hickson, John (Maggie) Walton of Woodstock, Jim (Bonnie) Walton of Embro, David (Dawn) Walton of Owen Sound, Elizabeth (Nigel) Elliott of Florida, Kathryn Walton (Henry Veenstra) of Embro, Robert (Karen) Walton of Embro and Tom (Emily) Walton of Embro. Frances is also survived by several great nieces, nephews and great-great nieces and nephews. She will be remembered by her special friends, Sally Johnson and Teresa Scherle. Predeceased by her parents, Robert and Elizabeth Walton (nee Shepherd); and her brothers James T. Walton (Jean), Ralph Walton (Emmy) and Lorne Walton. Frances was a longtime member and Treasurer at Christ Church Huntingford, as well as a Captain Nursing Sister in the Canadian Armed Forces at the time of her retirement. Frances also loved to knit, weave, do needle point and embroidery in her spare time. A memorial visitation will be held at CHRIST CHURCH HUNTINGFORD, 595815 Hwy. 59, Woodstock, ON, on Saturday, March 30, 2019 from 10-10:45 am, where the memorial service will take place at 11am with Rev. Chris Travers officiating. Inurnment will take place later in the Anglican Cemetery, Woodstock.
