WELLS, George – Passed away peacefully at his residence on Saturday, June 12, 2021, George Prescott Wells formerly of Innerkip at the age of 82.

Loving partner of Elda Playford. Dear father of Susan McRae of Nuttby, Nova Scotia, Bill Wells (Cathy) of Innerkip and George Wells of Toronto. He will be sadly missed by all of his grandchildren and great grandchildren. Fondly remembered by his brothers in Nova Scotia Norman Wells (Gerry) and Joe Wells (Joan). Fondly remembered by several nieces, nephews, and extended family. Predeceased by his wife Betty Wells (nee Purdue), parents Joseph and Violet (nee Hoeg) Wells, his son David Wells, daughter Kimberley Betts and his brother Bill Wells.

A memorial visitation will be held at the SMITH-LeROY FUNERAL HOME, 69 Wellington St. North, Woodstock (519-537-3611) on Tuesday, June 15, 2021 from 6-8 pm. A memorial service will be held in the chapel with Rev. Rob Luxton on Wednesday, June 16, 2021 at 1 pm. Interment of ashes will follow in the Innerkip Cemetery.
