Obituary for Helen Lucinda SAUNDERS (Vollmershausen)
SAUNDERS: Helen Lucinda (nee Vollmershausen) - passed away peacefully on Sunday, January 23, 2022 at her residence Caressant Care Nursing Home, Woodstock.
Beloved wife of the late William Saunders who predeceased her December 24, 1982. Loving mother of Kenneth (Cathy) of London, James (Joan) of Cambridge and Sandra (Aundrea) of Embro. She will be sadly missed by her grandchildren Alison & Kevin, Ashley, Rebecca & George, Kaitlyn, Brett & Sabrina and be her great grandchildren Candice, Rachel, Alex, Anthony, Alyssa, Stella, Emma & Declan. Survived by her brothers Doug , Don (Donna) and by many nieces and nephews.
Predeceased by her parents Wilfred & Stella (Kipp) Vollmershausen, brother Murray (Dorothy), sisters Audrey (Dave), Marie (Carmen) and her long time companion Mel Irving (April 14, 2012).
A graveside service will take place in the Baptist Cemetery on Friday, June 24, 2022 at 1 pm followed by a Celebration of Helen's Life at Happy Hills Retirement Community, 316489 31 st. Line, RR.3 Embro from 2-4 pm.
In lieu of flowers, donations to the Alzheimer's Society would be appreciate by the family. Personal condolences can be posted at www.smithleroy.com
