LUCAS, Joanne (nee Gibbons)

Passed away peacefully on Wednesday, September 29, 2021 at the St. Elgin General Hospital in her 67th year. Cherished mother to Jonathan (Bonnie) Lucas and Janice (Bill) Yeaman). Loving grandmother to Alexandra, Brooke, William and Peyton. Daughter to Ray (predeceased) and Ruth Gibbons. Joanne leaves behind her siblings Mike (Marj) Gibbons, Susan (Nick) Dietrich and Steven (Julie) Gibbons. Joanne was a dedicated nurse at the Woodstock General Hospital.

Friends will be received at the Smith-LeRoy Funeral Home, 69 Wellington St. North, Woodstock, on Friday, October 1, 2021 from 2-4 and 6-8pm. A service in the chapel will be held on Saturday at 11:00am followed by cremation. All guests are required RSVP through the website under visitation and service details.
