Obituary for John Longfield
LONGFIELD, “John” William– Passed away peacefully surrounded by the love of his children at VON Sakura House on Monday, March 22, 2021 at the age 82.
Reunited with his beloved wife Catherine Longfield. Loving father of Jacky and George, Sue and Rod and John and Sherri. Proud grandfather of 9 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren. Predeceased by his parents William and Margaret Longfield, brother Eric Longfield and his sister Jean Reitmire.

The family will receive friends on Friday, March 26, 2021 between 2:00 & 4:00 p.m. at the SMITH-LeROY FUNERAL HOME, 69 Wellington St. North, Woodstock (519-537-3611). Guests must RSVP through the funeral home website (ww.smithleroy.com) as spots are limited. You must remain in your vehicle until your scheduled time with no gathering in the parking lot. Masks are mandatory. A private family service will take place and internment of ashes will be held at a later date.
