I began working for Woodstock police in 1993 and Julius was such a treasure to work with. He was so pleasant to be around. And a prankster too. I remember one occasion when I was walking out of the building in the winter toward my cruiser and a snowball flew past my head. When I turned around, I only saw Julius’ eyes peering over the roof’s edge as he ducked down to hide. Even though I could only see the top half of his face, I could tell he had a mischievous grin. What a funny moment. He was one of a kind. To the entire family, my deep condolences. Rest In peace, Julius.

I worked as a Police Officer from 1967 to 1969 and
I remember Julius as a hard working jovial man with a kind heart. He was willing to help out with any advice or anything you might need. A true gentleman!
