Obituary for Kazia Sodaro
SODARO, Kazimiera “Kazia” - Passed away unexpectedly on Thursday, July 1st, 2021 at home in the arms of her beloved husband of 41 years, Bruno Sodaro. She was 66 years old.
Loving mother of Joanna Kennedy (Rob) and Alicia “Bella” Sodaro. Proud grandmother of Grace and Oliver Kennedy. Dear sister of Zofia Marchese (Frank), Irene Gigante (Joe), Jackie Houston, Anthoni Zwicewicz (Heather) and Alicia Zwicewicz, and sister-in-law of Tony Sodaro (Francine), Linda Sodaro and Angelo Sodaro. Kazia will be fondly remembered by several nieces, nephews and extended family. Predeceased by her parents Jan and Katarzyna Zwicewicz, brothers Henryk and Josef Zwicewicz and nephew Roman Marchese.
Kazia loved people and welcomed anyone she met into her home and heart. Her generous, playful nature brought light to all who loved her and she will be so deeply missed. In the spirit of spending this time celebrating her life and her love of sewing, the family encourages all who will be attending to dress in beautiful, colourful clothing if they wish too.
The family will welcome visitors at the SMITH-LeROY FUNERAL HOME, 69 Wellington St. N, Woodstock on Monday, July 5, 2021, 2-4 & 6-8 pm. A Funeral Mass will be held at Holy Trinity Parish, 1420 Devonshire Ave, Woodstock on Tuesday, July 6, 2021 at 12:30 pm with Fr Dariusz Jagodzinski as celebrant. A private family interment will follow in St. Mary’s Cemetery.
