CZERNIAWSKI, Kazimierz “Charles”
With family by his side Kazimierz passed away on January 1, 2021 in his 101st year. Predeceased by his wife Jadwiga. Survived by his 6 children, Christine, Susan (John), Mary (Joe), Helen (Gary), Barbara (Israel) and Edward (Brenda). He also leaves behind 16 grandchildren, 25 great grandchildren and 1 great-great grandchild.
Charles was a veteran of WWII serving in the Polish 1st Armored Division under British command and demobbed in 1948. He immigrated to Canada with his wife in 1949 where he started farming in Wingham. When he retired he then moved to Innerkip.
He will be sadly missed by his family.
A private family service and interment has taken place. As expressions of sympathy donations may bemade in Charles’ memory to a charity of your choice. Arrangements entrusted to the Smith-LeRoy Funeral Home, 69 Wellington Street North, Woodstock Ontario N4S 6P7.
