Obituary for Maidie CHALK
CHALK, Maidie– Passed away peacefully at University Hospital, London on Friday, June 16, 2023, Maidie Doreen Chalk (nee Atherton) of Woodstock at the age of 93.
She will be reunited with her husband Frank Chalk who predeceased her in 2002. Loving mother of Michael Chalk of Woodstock and Sandra Chalk (Helen Booth) of London. She will be sadly missed by her grandchildren Shainee Chalk, Paige Chalk and Frank Stevens (Patrick) and great grandchildren Joseph, Lillian and CJ. Maidie will be fondly remembered her nieces and nephews, especially Debby Bale (Perrin) and Robbie Forgie (Deb) along with extended family. Predeceased by her parents Thomas and Alice (nee Martin) Atherton.
Cremation has taken place and an interment will take place at Oxford Memorial Park Cemetery at a later date.
If desired, memorial donations can be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation, the Canadian Cancer Society or Canadian Mental Health Association.
