Obituary for Shirley Force
FORCE, Margaret “Shirley”- Passed away peacefully, surrounded by love at VON Sakura House on Friday, January 24, 2020, at the age of 77. Her beloved husband Hubert Force predeceased her on February 17, 2019.
Loving mother of the late Tammy Force (2006) and Vicky Dietrich of Guelph. Grandmother of Nicholas Colpitts, Ryan Colpitts, Tyler Wright and Karley Wright. Survived by her brother Robert “Bob” Feairs.
Survived by several nieces, nephews, and extended family. Shirley will be fondly remembered by Hubert’s family as well as her dear friends Ruby and Mike Marchand. Predeceased by her parents Russell and Marguerite (nee Sherred) Feairs and her brother James “Jim” Feairs.
Vicky would like to express her deepest gratitude to the Palliative Team at the Woodstock Hospital and the amazing staff at VON Sakura House for the exceptional care and compassion that was given to her Mom and herself.
Vicky and family will receive friends at the SMITH-LeROY FUNERAL HOME, 69 Wellington St. N, Woodstock (519-537-3611) on Friday, January 31, 2020 from 6-8 p.m. A complete funeral service will be held in the chapel on Saturday at 11 am with Pastor Rob Kropf. Spring interment will take place in Oxford Centre Pioneer Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to VON Sakura House or to LRCP Thameswood Lodge.
