POZOJEVIC, Maria - Passed away peacefully at Woodstock Hospital, with her daughter by her side, on Friday, December 20, in her 96th year. Devoted wife of the late Vinko Pozojevic (2006). Loving mother of Ann Pozojevic (John Bishop), David Pozojevic (Jean). She is survived by her two sisters Slavka and Pepca in Slovenia, her estranged son Don, several grandchildren and great grandchildren. The family of Maria would like to send a special thank you to the staff of the palliative care team at Woodstock Hospital, especially Dr. Vu for their excellent care. Maria was an avid gardener and loved her flowers. The family will receive friends at the SMITH-LeROY FUNERAL HOME, 69 Wellington St. N, Woodstock on Friday, December 27th, 2019 for visitation 2-4 pm and 5:30PM - 8 pm. with prayers at 6:00PM. A funeral Mass will be held at Holy Trinity Parish, 1420 Devonshire Ave, Woodstock on Saturday, December 28 at 11 am with Fr. Dariusz Jagodzinski as celebrant. Reception to follow. Interment will be in the spring.
