Obituary for Mary PROPER
Proper, Mary Corene – Passed away peacefully, surrounded by her family on Thursday, January 5, 2023 at Woodstock Hospital in her 87th year.
Reunited with her beloved husband Melvin Proper (1991), and first-born son, Gary Proper (2010). Loving mother of Donna (Michael) Discavage, Doug (Lucia) Proper, and David (Pam) Proper. Cherished grandma of Ryan (Becky), Brandon (Stephanie), Adam (Kirby), Megan (Dustin), Andrew (Catherine), and Derek (Aneila) and great-grandma to Aria, Luna, Noa, Colt and three more on the way. Survived by her sister Dolores (Robert) Suter. Predeceased by her parents Bertha Hutchinson and Ernest Cooper, brother Harvey and sister Phyllis. Fondly remembered by many nieces, nephew and extended family and friends.
A small private service for family and close friends will be held at the Smith-LeRoy Funeral Home, Woodstock at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, January 12, 2023. Interment to take place at Oxford Memorial Park Cemetery.
