Obituary for Myrtle Brooks
BROOKS, Myrtle - On April 17, 2020, Myrtle Glenna Brooks, in her 87th year, went to be with her Lord and Saviour, Jesus Christ. Predeceased by her loving husband Wallace Orland Brooks (2008). Survived by 2 children Jeffrey Brooks (Sheila) and Stanley Brooks (Sherry), 5 grandchildren Ashley (Kyle), Nicholas (Krista), Jason, Jordan, and Garret (Jackie). Also survived by 6 beautiful great-grandchildren.
Myrtle was a long-time member of Oxford Baptist Church and Salvation Army Church. The family wishes to express our gratitude to all of her caregivers in the Palliative Care Unit of the Woodstock General Hospital, Dr. Garret Mosey, Dr. Tamachi and all of the Nurses from the South West Health Integration Network who have taken amazing care of her this past year or so.
A celebration of life will be held at a later date, during safer times. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the Salvation Army Church, Woodstock through the funeral home.
