Obituary for Arlene Fletcher
FLETCHER, Arlene – Passed away peacefully, surrounded by love at Caressant Care Nursing Home, Woodstock on Monday, April 5, 2021 at the age of 79.
Beloved wife and best friend of Ray Fletcher for 41 wonderful years. Loving mother of Beverly Courtney (Dave) of Brights Grove, Dave Dudman (Deb) of Forest, Bob Dudman (Janet) of Forest, Nancy Dudman of Watford, Barrry Fletcher of Edmonton and Paul Fletcher of London. She adored her 14 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren. Survived by her sister Shirley Mansfield (John) of Strathroy. Arlene will be fondly remembered by nieces, nephews and extended family. Predeceased by her parents Lyle and Dora (nee McKay) Wellington. Arlene was a crossing guard for the city of Woodstock for 26 years and loved every minute of it.
Friends will be received at the SMITH-LeROY FUNERAL HOME, 69 Wellington Street North, Woodstock on Friday, April 9, 2021 from 6-8 pm. A private family service will be held in the chapel, cremation to follow with interment of ashes in Forest, ON at a later date. If desired, memorial donations to a charity of one’s choice would be appreciated.
