Obituary for Peter Bernard Cassidy
CASSIDY, Peter Bernard - Passed away at his home on April 6, 2023.
Lovingly remembered by his daughter Dr. Haley Adams of Boissevain, Manitoba, and his Grandchildren, Alexandra, Conan, Aidan, Gillian and Rohan. Peter has one great- grandson, Malcom. Survived by his brothers, Michael (Francesca) of Glen-Haven, N.S. and Bernard (Nancy) from Parksville B.C. His nephews are Shayne (Laurie) living in Drumheller, Alberta, and Andrew (Helen) from Hay River, NWT.
Peter emigrated from England in 1957. He lived in Woodstock most of his life. He loved to cruise on “Blackie” his favorite Harley. He shared happy times Touring with his “Buddies”. Peter was a fishing enthusiast and enjoyed adventures in the Caribbean, the Northwest Territories and the BC coast.
Peter loved to visit, enjoyed good conversation and was a great listener. He was always supportive and had encouraging words to offer. He will be greatly missed by family and friends.
Cremation has taken place. Interment will be on Saturday, May 20th, 2023 at 11:00 a.m. at the Anglican Cemetery, 396 Vansittart Avenue Woodstock, ON.
