Obituary for Ruth Duffy
DUFFY, Ruth – Passed away peacefully at Woodingford Lodge on Friday, May 6, 2022, Ruth Duffy (nee McIntyre) at the age of 84.
Reunited with her beloved husband Andrew “Andy” Duffy who predeceased her November 5, 2010. Loving mother of Allison Kane (Brad) of Woodstock. Dear aunt of James Kay (Dawn) of Toronto. Ruth will be fondly remembered by extended family near and far. Predeceased by her parents Alexander and Georgina McIntryre (nee Murphy), brothers James, Alex and William and sisters Mary McIntryre and Jean Kay.
A private graveside service will be held at St. Mary’s Cemetery at a later date.
The family would like to thank the caring staff at Woodingford Lodge, especially the staff in Pinecrest that gave Ruth such exceptional care.
If desired, memorial donations can be made to The Alzheimer’s Society of Southwest Partners or a charity of one’s choice.
