Obituary for Connie Sawyer
SAWYER, Constance “Connie” - Passed away at the Woodstock Hospital on Sunday, July 10, 2022, Theresa Constance Anne Sawyer (nee Mitchell) at the age of 74.
Beloved wife of Ferman Sawyer for 57 years. Loving mother of Robert Sawyer, Shane Sawyer (Crystal Atkinson) and Ferman Sawyer Jr. (Carrie Pickles). She loved her grandchildren Chelsea, Kaylee, Jesse and Cody as well as her great grandchildren Kristopher and Coral-Breeze. Dear sister of Dean Mitchell (Madeleine), Lawrence Mitchell and Roger Mitchell (Cathy). Connie will be fondly remembered by several nieces, nephews and extended family. She will be sadly missed by her beloved cat “Boy.” Predeceased by her parents Douglas and Anne (nee McKenzie) Mitchell, and brothers Robert, Michael, Georgie and Fabian.
The family will welcome visitors at the SMITH-LeROY FUNERAL HOME, 69 Wellington St. N, Woodstock on Thursday, July 14, 2022 from 4-8 pm.
