Obituary for Verdun Virtue
Verdun Peace Virtue (nee Hutchison) - Passed away peacefully at the Woodstock Hospital on Sunday January 24, 2021 at the age of 102.
She will be sadly missed by her family Bruce Virtue of Woodstock, Blanche Makins of Waterloo, Betty Cameron of Kitchener, Jean Robinson (George) of Courtland, Jack Virtue (Jackie) of Stirling, 16 grandchildren and 17 great grandchildren. Predeceased by her husband Hilton Virtue (1976), her parents William and Blanche Hutchison, her siblings Mary, Lenore, Aubrey and Leroy, sons Robert, Hilton, Jim and her four grandchildren. Verdun was a past life member of the Women’s Institute.
Cremation has taken place and a graveside service will be held at a later date in the Pioneer Cemetery, Oxford Centre. As expressions of sympathy donations may be made to the College Avenue United Church or a charity of your choice.
