BELT, James – Passed away at his residence on Thursday, May 28, 2020 with his wife Judy at his side, William “James” Belt of Woodstock at the age of 70.

Loving husband of Judy Lane (nee Kerr) for 26 years. He is survived by his step-mother Jaqueline Belt of Orillia as well as his sister Sharon Wentraub (Dennis) of Schenectady, New York. He will be sadly missed by his niece Kristin Mucci (Greg) of Boston and his nephew Jay Wentraub (Nicole) of Schenctady, New York. Dear brother-in-law of June Wilkins, Joan Craven, and Gary Kerr (Susan). Predeceased by his parents William and Marian (nee Awde) Belt.

Judy would like to thank Dr. Xenocostas and all the staff of the L.H.S.C Cancer Clinic, the staff on the 7th Floor; James’s family doctor, Dr. Onishenko, the nurses from St. Elizabeth, especially Yvonne, for the exceptional care and support for James and myself during the course of his illness.

In keeping with James’s wishes, cremation has taken place. There will be no funeral service. If desired, memorial donations can be made to the London Regional Cancer Program or a charity of one’s choice.
